This policy explains who owns the content shown on this site and produced by MERIMAKR LTD ("MERIMAKR", "we", "us" or "our"), how client and third-party material is handled, and how to raise a concern about copyright.
Unless stated otherwise, the text, design, graphics and video content on this website are owned by MERIMAKR or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You may view the site for your own use, but you may not copy, reproduce, distribute or reuse our content without our written permission.
Rights in the films we produce are dealt with in our Terms of Business. In short, rights in final deliverables transfer to the client on full payment for the agreed use, while MERIMAKR retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio, showreel and marketing unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Where a client provides material for a project - such as logos, footage, images, music or brand assets - the client confirms that they own it or have the necessary rights and licences for us to use it in the project. Licensed third-party assets (for example stock footage, music or fonts) are used under their own terms, and any extended or additional use may need a further licence.
We respect the intellectual property of others and expect the same in return. The client logos and marks shown on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners; their inclusion indicates involvement in video production projects only, and does not imply any other affiliation, endorsement or partnership.
